A Free walking tour of Bath is offered by the City of Bath's Honorary Guides.

EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR (except Christmas Day) - Sun to Fri 10.30 and 14.00 / Sat 10.30 only - Additionally May to Sept Tues and Fris only 19.00

Meet by the 'Free Walking Tours Here' board in the Abbey Church Yard near the Roman Baths and Pump Room, between York  and Cheap Streets. MAP - No pre booking is necessary for individuals. (Groups Tel: 01225 477411 for details)

Tours last about two hours and include main points of historical and architectural interest.

The Mayor of Bath's Corps of Honorary Guides are volunteers, act entirely in an unpaid capacity and do not accept ant tips or gratuities.

Grand Pier, Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare,
Somerset BS23 1AL

Situated in Weston super Mare, the Grand Pier was originally constructed in 1904, the Grand Pier featured a 2,000 seat theatre which was used as a music hall and for opera, stage plays and ballet. The original pavilion was destroyed by fire in 1930. A new pavilion was built in 1933 which housed a large, undercover fun fair. In 1974 the pier became a Grade II listed building. In 2008 the Grand Pier was completely destroyed by fire. Following a £51 Million investment the Grand Pier re-opened its doors in October 2010.
